Advanced IT is proud to announce the appointment of Ivette DeJesus as the new Chief Financial Officer, based in our headquarters office located in Winter Springs, Florida.

With an impressive background in finance and accounting, DeJesus brings over six years of experience from her tenure at C4 Advanced Tactical Systems.  She holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance & Accounting from the Florida Institute of Technology, further solidifying her expertise in the field.

In her new role at Advanced IT, DeJesus will oversee the finance unit, playing a crucial role in budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting needs, and securing new funding. Her responsibilities are pivotal in driving strategic and tactical financial decisions that align with Advanced IT’s growth and innovation objectives.

AITC Recruits Top Talent for QA Specialist

Advanced IT has recently recruited Paula Silvia to the team as a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist.

Ms. Silvia brings more than 30 years of quality assurance and process improvement expertise to Advanced IT.

She has contributed to seven successful CMMI SCAMPI-A appraisals, including Advanced IT’s recent achievement of being appraised at CMMI-SVC Maturity Level 3, where Ms. Silvia served as an appraisal team member.

Prior to joining Advanced IT, Ms. Silvia held positions supporting both private companies and government agencies, ranging from small software start-ups to large well-established organizations, such as Banyan Systems, Motorola, EMC Corporation, the Department of Defense (DoD), and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). In these positions, she has received several awards and recognitions for her outstanding achievements in process improvement.

When asked about joining the team at Advanced IT, Ms. Silvia says, “I look forward to contributing to Advanced IT’s successes. I am honored to work alongside so many veterans and I’m inspired by their dedication to such a meaningful mission.”

Ms. Silvia continually utilizes the training and certifications she has received in problem-solving, quality assurance, ISO 9001, and CMMI-DEV, CMMI-SVC, and CMMI-ACQ.
